It’s that time when I finish a season of Skins and feel the need to debrief. 
It started slow. I wasn’t a fan of Franky, Rich, Grace or Liv. Nick or Matty were hardly introduced. The only character that made it feel like skins was Mini. I don’t know, it just didn’t do it for me. As I gradually made my way through the episodes, the characters got a bit deeper and it started feeling a bit like skins again. In comparison to other seasons, I could wait to watch the next episode, I was busy for 2-3 and didn’t even have a thought about it. First and second generation got me hooked instantly and I couldn’t wait to see what happened next. 

Towards the end, it got a bit better. I liked Alo and Rich towards the end. Grace drives me crazy, cannot stand her. Or Liv for that matter. I like Franky now, (apparently I won’t for long come season 6 but oh well)she has traits that remind me of both Cassie and Effy. I think they could’ve done so much more with Mini. A relationship with Franky would’ve been interesting, but alas nothing.

Overall, it was average, in comparison to previous seasons (the expectations were high). I’m hoping season 6 can redeem this generation, at the moment I’m not too fussed and would rather a 4th generation.
